LA Splash * Lip couture | REVIEW FIRST IMPRESSION

Hi guys,
today after a longer period of time a have a new makeup review for you ! I´m going to talk about my new liquid lipstick from LA Splash, couple days ago I ordered the lip couture lipstick from LA Splash after hearing so many good reviews about it. I decided to get the shade Hidden Desires which is a beautiful purple shade that´s so vibrant almost neon like.

Let me start of with the fact that this product is really long-lasting, that was the main claim that got me into buying this lipstick. I don't know if you remember but a couple month ago I've done a review of the sephora cream lip stain and although it stated that it is long-lasting and transfer free that wasn't completely true. It stayed on pretty well but it wasn't transfer free and after couple hours of wear it started to bleed outside my lip line. I can tell you that with this one it's a completely different story, I'm in love with this lipstick formula. I wore it for 8 hours and it didn't transfer at all, I noticed that the color is slightly wearing off in the middle of my lips but that's expected because of that excess moisture. Still dough I think that If you'd decide to reapply the lipstick, it would stay on till the end of the day.

The color was almost completely opaque, I could see some patches during the first application but when I applied a very thin second coat just on some parts of my lips I was very satisfied with the color. Also another important thing is that the color changes a little bit when it dries, but in my opinion it transforms into an even more flattering shade.

My lips freshly after I applied the lipstick.

It's a liquid lipstick as I said so don't expect any moisture coming out of this lipstick. But from my experience I still feel like this lipstick doesn't dry out my lips as much as the Sephora one, which is surprising to me considering that the Sephora one feels a lot stickier being on your lips. This one feel very lightweight almost like nothing on your lips. It doesn't bleed outside of your lip line and stays exactly where you put it.

My lips after 8 hours without eating, only drinking.

One complain I have about this lipstick is that later in the day if you look closely onto your lips you'll start noticing cracks, it's not very appealing I must say but still I don't think that it's that bad.

This is how the lipstick looked after 8 hours, after eating a tuna salad.

The removal was pretty simple, it went a lot quicker than what I was expecting because in lot of reviews people were complaining that they needed to use special makeup removers even oils to remove but I didn't have any problem at all. I just used a cotton pad and my Bioderma micellar water to remove the lipstick, after couple swipes and a little bit of a rubbing motion the lipstick was gone. After the removal I used a little bit of lip balm to replenish the moisture but I didn't feel like it was necessary.

The price is quite nice, it's definitely not the cheapest liquid lipstick on the market but it certainly is one of the most long lasting lip products I have tested in a while ! You can get this lipstick for $14 on the LA Splash website or on Ebay for about $13. I definitely don't regret buying this lipstick and I'm already planning on purchasing another one, the hardest things is going to be to decide which color to choose from.

Thanks for reading, until next time, Bye :)

Carrot, Banana, Apple Roll up * RECIPE | vegan

Hello,
I have a new vegan recipe for you this week. I tried to do a traditional fruit roll up or as many of you know it a traditional Austrian strudel that would be vegan and tasty as well. I decided to go with filling made out of carrots, apples and bananas but I'm sure you can try it with any fruit you like or combine in some poppy seed or cottage cheese.

Ingredients:
For the dough
250 g of spelt flour
1/2 of banana
100 ml of water
1 tbsp of coconut oil

For the filling
1kg of apples
500 g of carrots
1 and 1/2 of banana
1 vanilla sugar
1 tbsp of cinnamon
150 g of shredded nuts
coconut oil

So first you're going to start with the dough. Heat up the coconut oil and then in a large bowl combine the flour, the banana, the water and the oil.

Mash the banana with a fork and start to form a thick dough. If you feel like the flour isn't sticking to the dough anymore add a little bit more of the banana that should help to pick up all of the flour. When your dough is done you can let it sit on a counter while you prepare the filling.

Before you start making the filling preheat your oven to 160°C(320F°). Start by shredding your nuts if you haven't bought some that were already shredded.

Then in a food processor or by hand cut your apples, carrots and banana into small pieces or you can grate them like cheese.

When you're done, take a larger bowl and mix your fruit mixture with some cinnamon and vanilla sugar, also add 100 g of shredded nuts for added flavor.

Now it's time to start rolling the dough, split the dough in two parts and roll them individually. I would suggest rolling the dough on some baking paper because it's going to be easier to transfer then.

Then when you have to rectangular dough shaped that are couple millimeters thick you can use a little bit of coconut oil and spread it all over the dough. After that sprinkle the rest of the nuts on to your dough and start putting the fruit mixture evenly on top of the nuts.

Make sure to squeeze out the juice out of the mixture before using it because that will lead to major leaking during the baking process.

Last step is just to roll the dough and your roll up is ready. I have done a mistake and I haven't used baking paper underneath it so I ended up tearing the roll up a little but it doesn't really matter the dough is going to keep it all nicely together.

Bake for 35 minutes and let it cool. There's a big chance that there's going to be a lot of juice leaked everywhere and that the roll up is going to tear on the sides but that's completely normal and happens almost every time. The good side of things is that this dough seems to really keep it's shaped after it has cooled down a bit.

And that's it a delicious, healthy vegan version of the traditional Austrian strudel, I hope that you get to try this recipe because everyone in my family just loves it, it's fruity, juicy and has a little bit of a banana bread taste. Thanks for reading bye :)

Best scrumbled eggs * RECIPE |

Hy fellow foodies,
recently I was really wanting to do some scrambled eggs but you know that scrambled eggs are so simple that they often get a little bit boring and blend, so I added some spices to the mixture that I think compliment this liquidy egg mixture amazingly and make it taste extra special. For 1 serving of my special scrambled eggs you'll need:

3 medium eggs
1 tbsp of unsalted butter
pinch of himalayan salt
pinch of grounded turmeric
pinch of provencal herbs (thyme, basil, oregano, rosemary, tarragon, parsley and some savory)*
*You can buy premixed spice blend at the store or you can mix your own

This is one of the simplest recipes to make but still there are a lot of tricks that can make it extra tasty. First of all you'll have to decide what's your favorite consistency of scrambled eggs, liquid, fluffy, something in between. I personally like liquidy scrambled eggs that you can eat with a spoon ! It's like a creamy custard I just love that, so that's what I'm going to show you today also. But If you like your eggs to be more done or completely cooked to the consistency that you can distinguish the egg white from the egg yolk you always have to start with the liquid kind and from there you can take it as far as you'd like.

The secret to the best liquid consistency eggs is to start in a cold pan. First I put a slice of butter to the pan and then I add my eggs, before I start cooking my eggs I also add my spices and mix it with a silicone spatula so I don't destroy the saucepan.

Then I start cooking the eggs on low heat, you really want to go slow If you want a very liquidy almost pudding like consistency. To make eggs this way it's going to take you much longer than those fluffy eggs but with practice you're going to be able to make them in 15 minutes or less. Keep stiring the egg mixture so that there are no clumps visible. If after 5 minutes of mixing you don't see the eggs getting cook turn the heat up a little bit and keep stiring with your spatula. When you'll see that some of the mixture starts to form little lumps and crumbles it's time to take them off the heat. Generally you want to take the eggs sooner because they are still going to continue to cook for a while when you remove them from heat.

That's it, simple quick dinner/breakfast recipe that's great for any occasion. I really like this particular recipe mainly because of the spice blend that I use. I think that the turmeric really takes it up a notch and gives it a very unique flavor that is both unusual and delicious at the same time. You can pair these scrambled eggs with some cherry tomatoes or any kind of vegetable you like :) Thanks for reading bye :)

Kiwi Tarte * RECIPE | Healthy, Gluten Free

Hello everybody today I have another Tarte recipe for you, I used the base of my berry tarte recipe that you can find here and did couple changes to it. I had some leftover kiwis laying around so I decided to use them up and make this delicious light summer cake. I love the beautiful green color that this cake has, many kids would love this in my opinion. I tweaked my filling a little bit and I think that it's even better than in my Berry Tarte ! So let's see how I did it.

For the crust:
1 and 1/2 of cup of old fashioned gluten free oats
1/2 cup of coconut oil
1 and 1/2 tbsp of poppy seeds (you can use chia seeds if you want to add some fiber to it)
2 tbsp of honey
1/2 cup of water
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
pinch of salt

For the filling:
500 g of Ricotta cheese (you can use mascarpone instead or any other cream cheese you like)
2 tbsp of honey
1 egg white
400 g of kiwis

First we're going to make the oat flour. The easiest way to make oat flour is to use a high speed blender or a food processor and blend the oats on high until you get a flour like consistency.

Now when your home made oat flour is made or bought if you want to save time, you can mix in the poppy seeds, cinnamon, a pinch of salt, coconut oil, honey and water along with your flour and try to form a dough like consistency. It's going to be really thick like when you're doing a graham cracker crust. If you encounter any difficulties add more water.

Next step is to let your dough sit in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Make sure to preheat your oven to 200°C while waiting for your dough to cool. When done you're just going to press the dough into your desired form. I used one that had a diameter of 20 cm but I would suggest using something even smaller if you want the crust to be a little thicker.

Now it's time to make the filling first I used my electric whisk to whisk my egg white until I obtained a nice fluffy, foamy consistency. Then I mixed it with the ricotta cheese and honey. Make sure to taste the mixture before you decide to bake it just to make sure it's sweet enough for you.

If you're happy with the taste you can simply pour and spread the filling onto your crust.

Now you're going to peel your kiwis and cut them into thin layers, as thin as possible just for the appearance.

When you're done you can start placing them onto the filling, do as many layers as you'd like I just placed all the kiwis that I had as evenly as possible.

It's baking time. Put your mold into the oven for 35 minutes and your delicious kiwi tarte is ready to be served. First piece may come out a little bit crumbly but the rest should be okay !

Thanks for reading this summer recipe, I hope that you enjoyed it !

Bathroom Design Ideas * PINTEREST | Grey, Blush, Mint

Hi !
After my first Pinterest favorite post I'm bringing you another, this time I will concentrate on Bathrooms ! I think that kitchens and bathroom are one of the most important rooms in the house so after my kitchen blog post went up I was already thinking about some Bathroom design that I would like to share with you.

So a new trend that I have been seeing quite a lot on Pinterest lately have been these Nordic pattern inspired floors. I love how they incorporated something so bold in terms of pattern with clean and simple cabinetry and furniture. I also like the contrast in these designs, even though it's black it looks very light and not sad or too dark at all.

These two are completely different from the first one except for the fact that they also have some bold flooring, I love the herringbone pattern combined with that light grey cabinetry but also that arabesque floor design in the right picture. I can't get enough of the gold accents that I think are present in every room in our houses nowadays.

I think that after black, grey and white, blue and mint blue are one of the favorite colors to use in your bathroom. I'm really digging the mermaid wall in the right picture it's so unique I have never seen anything like that, would look cool paired with some simple dark blue or light grey cabinetry in my opinion, and the gold ! I just love that design, but the one on the left is gorgeous also, it's a different style more traditional with some wood. It makes it feel a little bit more cozy and home like in my opinion than the other options.

So second part of my Pinterest favorites is here and I must say that I had so much fun putting together this compilation for you because it combine to of my passions, design and Pinterest :D (I don't know if Pinterest can be really called a passion but whatever) thanks for reading bye :)
